Ainni Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
Ainni helps people keep Subject-centered Journals with shareable timelines and templates. This policy covers the first iPhone TestFlight and App Store release.
Data We Collect
- Account contact information, such as email address and optional display name.
- Account identifiers and session records needed for authentication.
- User content, including Subject names, Subject Types, Journal Entries, tags, templates, share links, and sharing roles.
- Operational diagnostic data, including server logs and support/debug records needed to operate, secure, debug, and support the service.
Ainni does not currently use ads, third-party tracking, or IDFA.
How We Use Data
- To create and secure user accounts.
- To send verification and password reset emails.
- To store and sync Subjects, Journal Entries, tags, templates, and sharing information.
- To provide support, debug service issues, prevent abuse, and maintain backups.
Sharing
Ainni does not sell personal data. Data may be processed by production infrastructure and transactional email service providers used to host the service, send verification and password reset emails, maintain backups, and provide support.
Retention And Deletion
Users can delete their account inside the app. During account deletion, owned Subjects can be transferred to eligible editor members when selected. Owned Subjects without a transfer target and their associated Journal data are permanently deleted with the account.
Backups may retain deleted data for up to 30 days for operational recovery unless a shorter production-host lifecycle policy is configured.
Export
Data export/import is future scope for the first release. Users can contact support for questions about their data.
